Oh so good! When in mammoth Lakes, Schat's Bakery is the place to stop for a delicious pastry. Or donut. Or home baked bread. Or hand crafted chocolates or candies. Or coffee. Or lunch. There was a line when we were there, but there were multiple employees helping everyone and the line went fast. Super cute shop with the restaurant in a room behind the bakery area. They were out of bear claws, so the hubby opted for a maple bar, which he said was ok. I had a sugar twist donut that was fresh, huge and delicious. We brought home a cinnamon roll donut, which we ate over the next couple days, as it was really big, too. We got a couple chocolate turtles and they were good, as well.
The turkey sandwiches are OMG AMAZING! Let's just say it went two days in a row. I had to get one before I left. Definitely try them out you won't regret it. They have whole roasted turkeys! The turkey vegetable soup they have is scrumptious! Friendly service and attentive service.

Always love Schat's! Bread, cinnamon roll and crescent roll so good! We went on an adventure and grabbed some turkey sandwiches on sourdough - made for a perfect day at Yosemite! Service was friendly and quick, cute little place. Definitely go early if you want breakfast treats.
Every time we go to Bishop or Mammoth this is a must! Such good sandies and baked goods! The coffee is pretty good too
